COVID-19 High Alert Tier 2

On Wednesday 14/10/2020 Rotherham entered Tier 2 ‘High Level’ Covid-19 restrictions. This means the pandemic situation is very serious in our area. At the moment driving lessons are continuing under very strict Covid Secure protocols I have in place however I am reviewing this decision to continue on a daily basis. Your safety and the safety of myself and my family are my priority. For information, all driving lessons in Northern Ireland have now been suspended.

I already have one customer who is confirmed as positive for Coronavirus. I wish this person well. I have spoken to 119 who confirm due to the timeframe involved I and my driving school / customers are not effected. However, if instructed by Track and Trace in the future that I have been in recent contact with a Covid positive person I will suspend lessons immediately.

As you all know I phone you before each lesson to ask the ‘Covid Questions’. I know this can be quite repetitive but please continue to fully listen to the questions and answer honestly. Also, as we are in Tier 2 restrictions please do not ask me to do something that I know would be against these rules (i.e. mixing of household rule). I thank you all for your continued help and understanding with this.

So, the good news is driving lessons are continuing at the moment. Fingers crossed for the future everyone!
